ATP Systems + Samplers

A robust sanitation verification program is at the heart of any ATP food safety program. Proper procedures can be accomplished through a robust hygiene monitoring program. This is why we offer Neogen® ATP products. With this system you can detect the amount of residue or organic matter, including bacteria, yeast and mold, left on a surface or in rinse water after cleaning.

Neogen’s ATP testing system leads the industry and provides a near-instant measurement of organic material left on a surface. Hygiene swab tests, such as protein swabs can also provide a relatively quick measurement of general cleaning by reporting the amount of protein left on the surface. While ATP test systems report a numeric value, protein detection swabs change color in the presence of proteins. Another important indicator of proper procedures is the relative presence of microorganisms on the surface. While also affected by the cleaning portion of your procedures, this marker relates more closely to the efficacy of the sanitizer you are using.

Neogen® Accupoint Advanced ATP System

AccuPoint® Advanced Sanitation Verification System from Neogen® is a handheld ATP reader that accurately detects ATP from surfaces and rinse water samples. A total of 3 different samples are available, depending on the application, for surface testing, rinse water testing, and narrow openings (e.g. small pipes, fill nozzles).

As the first sanitation verification device to be approved by the AOAC Research Institute, use of AccuPoint Advanced provides customers assurance that the system produces consistent and reliable data for evaluating sanitation program effectiveness in food processing and food services facilities. In addition, the approval follows a recent study conducted by NSF International that showed AccuPoint Advanced exceeded the performance of competitive systems on the market — further adding to the robustness of the device
